FAUBA together with Dicle University have applied and obtained financing through the KA107 Program of the European Union for the mobility of students, staff and professors from the Animal Production Department of both institutions (round-internationalization). The call for student mobility is opened.

Student selection criteria

In the case of FAUBA, an advanced degree student, a master student and/or a doctoral student can become as a candidate. In these last two cases, you must be enrolled in one of the careers offered at the Alberto Soriano Graduate School.

Requirements for the application and documentation to present

• If you are an undergraduate student, you must have completed at least 60% of the degree and have an average higher than 6.5 points and have a demonstrable link with the FAUBA’s Animal Production Department.
• Have an international English exam certificate such as TOEFL (> 79) and IELTS (> 6.5). Classes/seminars will be taught in English.
• Write a motivation letter in English stating the reasons for being chosen.
• Brief CV.
• Transcript of records with the approved courses and/or the issued undergraduate degree.
• In case of being a master and/or doctoral student of the EPG Alberto Soriano, you should present the corresponding admission certificate and a copy of the approved summary of the thesis project in the Animal Production area.
• Completed Application Form attached to this call.
• Completed Learning Agreement attached to this call.

Length of stay, stipends and payment methods

The stay at Dicle will take place from 2022 (exact date to be agreed and confirmed according to the global health situation). It will last between 3 to 5 months and it is expected that the FAUBA’s candidate will take between 5 to 7 subjects/courses/seminars equivalent in the case of being an undergraduate degree student to 30 ECTS (European credits).

The following sums of money will be awarded to the chosen candidate:

800 Euros per month for the whole stay;
1500 Euros for air ticket.

80% of the total budget will be awarded between 3 and 4 weeks after the FAUBA’s student has arrived at Dicle University. The remaining 20% ​​will be delivered at the end of the exchange.

The School of Agriculture of the University of Buenos Aires has no legal capacity to resolve the acquisition of foreign currency, leaving this under the responsibility of the candidate.

The School of Agriculture of the UBA will guarantee a paid leave (when applicable) for the period of the approved mobility.

Due to the epidemiological situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the School of Agriculture of the University of Buenos Aires, as well as the partner university, may cancel or suspend the mobility in any instance of the internationalization. The activities may be canceled, suspended or postponed due to health issues or it may change from onsite to virtual and/or mixed exchange.
